In Singapore alone , this cancer is the order of the 6th leading cause of death in men , with a possible 1 times within 50 times the life span of gastric cancer . Meanwhile , for women in Singapore , this cancer is the most common cancer the 8th . Each year , gastric cancer the cause of death for approximately 300 people of Singapore .

WHAT CAUSES GASTRIC CANCER ?

Although it is uncertain what the cause of gastric cancer , however , factors that may increase the risk of gastric cancer are :

· Consumption of salted and smoked foods

· Rarely consume fruits and vegetables

· Family medical history of gastric cancer in which there

· Infection caused by Helicobacter pylori , a bacteria that live in the mucus layer in the stomach.

· Chronic gastric inflammation , which refers to the long -term stomach inflammation .

· Pernicious anemia , which is a decrease in the number of red blood cells that occurs when the digestive tract can not absorb vitamin B12 properly .

· Smoke

WHAT IS THE GASTRIC CANCER SYMPTOMS ?

           Gastric cancer has very few symptoms or even none at all in the early stages of growth , so early detection is difficult to do  Someone could have loss of appetite , sudden weight loss , and chronic pain in the abdomen . However, abdominal pain or dyspepsia ( pain or discomfort that occurs in the upper abdomen ) is a common symptom and often occurs as a result darinaiknya stomach acid or gastric inflammation .
